I’ve been reading and learning more about acclaimed author, Robert Greene (http://powerseductionandwar.com/) There are so many nuggets in his works…one topic he dives into is humans are the only species that understands mortality – we know we will die. As a result, many of us live in fear of the “what if,” we frame expectations of ourselves and others based on our past and what’s NOT left of the future, therefore sacrificing our present moments…
I’m working on myself in this area, enjoying the moments, every one of them – good, bad, difficult, easy – I want to become more in many ways and I’m going to do my best to focus on what is vs what’s not as I grow.
My wish for you in the coming year, is internal peace. Peace of mind, peace with your demons and self doubts, peace with your best self. An internal shift towards grace and an unwavering foundation that you are perfect, exactly as you are.
